Want the scoop? Here’s a list of college basketball beat writers to follow on Twitter
I put together a college football beat writers Twitter list during the summer, and many of you found it useful and have since requested a similar list for college hoops scribes.
So, what follows is a team-by-team list of college basketball beat writers from across the country. I’ve included all six BCS Conferences as well as the Missouri Valley Conference. In the next few weeks, I’ll add a few other conferences, including the Atlantic Ten, Conference USA and maybe the Mountain West, too.
I’ll also organize all the names below and sort them by conference.
Twitter, as I’ve said repeatedly, is a great tool for sports bettors. Beat writers provide breaking news, injury reports, inside information and other useful nuggets that can help you make bets while also staying ahead of the books. It’s impossible to keep tabs on 350 college basketball teams. Twitter helps close the information gap.
If you have any suggested follows (or corrections), please send me a message on Twitter at @beyondthebets. I’ll do my best to keep the list as accurate and updated as possible.
UPDATE (11/15/11): Here are the Twitter lists, sorted by conference:
